Eugene H. Hirsh, M.D.

Eugene H. Hirsh, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.G., A.G.A.F. received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Hirsh is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine. He was a member of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph’s Hospital from 1999-2011 and has been Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Northside and Saint Joseph's Hospitals and Chief of Medicine at Emory Adventist Hospital in Smyrna. In addition, he has served as Chairman of the Nutrition Committee at Emory St. Joseph's and Northside hospitals for many years.

He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Georgia GI Society. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association.

Dr. Hirsh was named in Atlanta’s Top Doctors in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and has been in private practice in Atlanta for 37 years.
